EFCC Appoints Executive Secretary of National Commission for Almajiri and Out-of-School Children’s Education as Ambassador

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has appointed Dr. Muhammad Sani Idris, Executive Secretary of the National Commission for Almajiri and Out-of-School Children’s Education, as an Ambassador of the Commission.

This appointment was made during a courtesy call by Dr. Idris and his management team to the Executive Chairman of the EFCC, Mr. Ola Olukoyede.

The EFCC Chairman officially decorated Dr. Idris with the EFCC Ambassadorial Badge, symbolizing his new role.

Dr. Idris expressed his appreciation for the gesture and pledged to support the Commission in its fight against corruption and promotion of transparency.

He sought collaboration from the EFCC to improve the lives of millions of Almajiri and out-of-school children.

Dr Idris commended Mr. Olukoyede for his open-door policy, which has fostered a culture of cooperation and partnership between the EFCC and other organizations.

The Executive Secretary also praised Olukoyede's leadership style, particularly highlighting his commitment to the welfare of EFCC staff.

In response, Mr. Olukoyede assured Dr. Idris of the EFCC's support for the National Commission for Almajiri and Out-of-School Children’s Education, pledging to assist the Commission in executing its mandate.

Mr. Olukoyede emphasized the importance of vigilance and accountability, urging the Commission to report any attempts at fraud or corruption, particularly in procurement processes.
