The Honourable Minister of State for Education, Professor Suwaiba Sa’eed Ahmed, today visited the Tinubu Legacy Skills Training Institute for Almajiri and Out-of-School Children in Kaduna — a flagship model under the National Commission for Almajiri and Out-of-School Children Education (NCAOOSCE).
The Minister was warmly received by the Executive Secretary of the Commission, Dr. Muhammad Sani Idris, along with staff of the Institute. During her tour of the facilities, Professor Ahmed interacted with students and observed firsthand the transformative progress being made in the education and skills development of 200 Almajiri children undergoing a nine-month training programme.
Impressed by the students’ performance and the quality of instruction, Professor Ahmed — herself a seasoned academic — expressed deep satisfaction with the level of learning achieved within just a few months. She described the initiative as “highly commendable” and emphasized its potential for nationwide replication.
“This model is a game-changer,” the Minister noted. “What I’ve seen here today gives me hope. These children have made remarkable progress in a very short time. This initiative must be replicated across all states of the federation.”
In his remarks, Dr. Muhammad Sani Idris, the Executive Secretary of NCAOOSCE, expressed deep appreciation to both the Honourable Minister of Education and the Honourable Minister of State for Education for their steadfast support. He acknowledged that the successes recorded so far would not have been possible without their commitment and encouragement.
The Executive Secretary also extended his gratitude to His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for providing the leadership and vision that have made this initiative a reality.
He reaffirmed the Commission’s resolve to continue driving inclusive and transformative educational interventions for Almajiri and out-of-school children across the country.

We had some cracked tiles in our hallway that couldn't be repaired because we didn't have spares. We decided to redo the whole area. I searched for tile floor replacement near me. The team removed the old floor efficiently and minimized the dust. The new porcelain tiles they installed are durable and have modernized the hallway.
The kitchen in our Ridgefield home was very dated with 90s oak cabinets and laminate counters. We wanted a complete transformation to a modern farmhouse style. We hired Kitchen remodel contractors in Ridgefield, WA. They installed a farmhouse sink, shaker cabinets, and a subway tile backsplash. The workmanship is fantastic, and it has completely changed the vibe of our home.
